CM KCR For Welfare Of Tribals: Sathyavathi Rathod
Hyderabad, Aug.9 (Maxim News): Tribal welfare minister Sathyavathi Rathod today inaugurated a tribal art gallery, and a website at Sankshema bhavan here with chief secretary Somesh Kumar here to mark world Aadivasis day.
On the occasion the minister said that chief Minister K Chandra sekhar Rao has started several welfare schemes for Aadivasis and tribals in Telangana state. Appreciating the for photos reflecting Aadivasis and tribals lifestyle and works there minister thanked the chief Minister for the schemes.
The minister said after distributing protection kits to tribals that KCR has decided to make tribals and Aadivasis self reliant. KCR is for starting food processing units in tribal areas to make them self reliant and earn income she said.
The government makes efforts to make them industrialists and offer them normal life Sathyavathi Rathod said. On operational the food processing parks will help them get income to lead respected and normal life she hoped. It is good for bringing special books for tribals instead of Telugu books she said.
Somesh Kumar said that he worked long with the tribal department. The government schemes are aimed at developing the Aadivasis and tribals, he added. (Maxim News)
