CM KCR is traitor of Dalits: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad, Oct.29 (NSS): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that CM KCR was a traitor of the Dalits of the State. He also alleged that CM KCR was insulting BR Ambedkar at the drop of a hat in the State and added that KCR was rewriting the constitution of the country while claiming that the CM does not like to utter the word Dalit again and again.

Addressing an atmiya Sabha of the Dalits of Mnugodu Assembly constituency, Sanjay alleged that the CM KCR was not allowing the Dalit officers of the State to work with him and added that the people were aware of the Dalit officers. He claimed that the CM had recently appointed a Dalit officer in his office recently after a serious criticism from different sections of the society. He alleged that the CM was diverting the funds released by the Central government for the development of SCs and STs. He claimed that several SC and ST students were stopping their education after completing their Clss X and Intermediate courses due to lack of money.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said the PM had introduced a merit scholarship program for the SC and STs of the country with an outlay of ₹59,000 crore. Stating that the scheme required the State government to contribute 40 percent towards its share for the implementation of the scheme, he alleged that the CM was demanding the Central Government to credit its 60 percent share directly to the State government. He alleged that the CM was also not releasing a matching grant of 20 percent after the amendment of the rules by the PM.

He termed Modi as the true friend of the Dalits of the country. He claimed that Modi would treat Ambedkar as a deity and added that the PM had once claimed that he became the PM only because of the blessings of Ambedkar . He said that Modi had opened 3 crore bank accounts of the Dalits of the country in the last eight years and credited money into their accounts. He also said that Modi was sending 500 Dalits to foreign countries for higher education every year and added that the central government had made it mandatory to all the banks of the country to sanction at least one loan a year to a Dalit under the overseas education scheme.
