CM KCR Meets Amit Shah
Hyderabad, Sept.4 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao meets Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. KCR has appealed to the Home Minister to extend necessary support for Telangana development. He urged the home minister to offer support for roads and infrastructure in naxal infested districts and other regions in Telangana.
The Chief Minister has asked Amit Shah to see that more IPS cadre officers are given to Telangana state. As the state has got more districts the government needs more IPS officials for smooth functioning and law and order, KCR said. The state gets more investments and industries, we need more number of officials of IPS level, he said.
Despite the corona pandemic incurring losses financially, the state is trying to go on with the development programs which need Central support, KCR said.
He apprised the home minister of several welfare schemes and development programs being taken up in the state. The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Centre will release funds for state development.
The Chief Minster who is in Delhi on a three-day tour had already called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought his support for state development.
During his meeting with Modi, KCR has urged for a piece of land for construction of an office for Telangana Bhavan, sought some educational institutions.
He already laid a foundation for TRS party office Telangana Bhavan at Vasanth Vihar near metro station in Delhi on September 2. As his three –day completed successfully, the TRS Supremo may get back to Hyderabad on Saturday. (Maxim News)
