CM KCR To Discuss on Lockdown Extension

Hyderabad, June 7 (Maxim Mews): Telangana government is to lift its lockdown by easing curbs according to information. The chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is to chair a cabinet meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on June 9 at 2 pm.

In the meeting he is to take a call to lift curbs of the lockdown. KCR is likely to announce the easing of the curbs. It is being said that the chief minister is to declare that the state will get more time for people from 6 am to 6 pm which is till 2 pm now. If the lockdown is to be lifted the government will impose curfew during night hours according to information.

As the lockdown ends on June 9 the cabinet will hold a meeting a day ahead. So the chances are that the state may see night curfew for another 10 days. The state government assessing the lockdown impact and financial situation post covid-19 and plight of the working class, people and other sections. The lockdown was extended from May 30 to June 9.

It is now to be lifted for some hours easing the people to get their works done. (Maxim News)
