CM KCR to meet Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Feb 20
Hyderabad, Feb 16: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray are all set to meet in Mumbai on February 20, to discuss the future course of action for unification of like-minded forces in the fight against the BJP. Uddhav Thackeray extended his full support to Chandrashekhar Rao’s fight for the federal justice, denouncing the anti-people policies of the BJP-led Central government.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the Maharashtra Chief Minister telephoned Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday morning and invited him to Mumbai for the meeting. He appreciated Chandrashekhar Rao for taking up a just fight and raising his voice at the right time against the divisive forces of the nation in order to protect the country and its people.
“KCR ji, you must continue to fight for the rights of the States and the integrity of the country. Please continue with the same spirit and we will extend our complete support. We will do our part to mobilise all the people of the country in this direction. I invite you to Mumbai and enjoy our hospitality. At the same time, let us discuss the future course of action,” Thackeray invited Chandrashekhar Rao.
Both West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin have recently spoke to Chandrashekhar Rao, extending their support in his efforts to fight against the Centre, to protect the federal spirit of the nation. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda also telephoned the Chief Minister on Tuesday in this regard and extended his complete support.
