CM Revanth And Harish Rao In Assembly

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Maxim News): Debate in Telangana Assembly going on. During this, the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy lashed out at the BRS government and KCR’s family, Revanth also made key comments on the Kaleswaram project.

Revanth said in the Assembly, Harish Rao won five times as MLA. Harish Rao was irrigation Minister in the first government and finance minister in the second government.  Nobody except KCR and his family has seen the Irrigation department in the last 10 years.  A loan of Rs. 97,449 was sanctioned for the Kaleswaram project but Rs. 79,287 crores were released.  Apart from the figures shown in the white papers, more funds were spent by the previous government.  Harish Rao misled the House.

The estimated cost of the Kaleshwaram project is not Rs. 80 thousand crores, Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project Corporation received  funds from elsewhere.  The previous government had planned to sell the kaleshwaram project Corporation received funds from elsewhere.  the previous government had planned to sell the Kaleshwaram project water.  They took loans by promising that Rs, 5,100 crores will come by selling water to the Industries. including the fish farming and tap connection to the homes.  Loans were taken by deceiving the banks that Mission Bhagiratha would generate an income of Rs. 5 thousand crores.

By doing business on water, they brought debts in the names of Kaleswaram project and Mission Bhagiratha. Government gave guarantees and took responsibility for the replaying of loan funds received by TSIIC. The CAG reported that the income was wrongly declared for taking the debts.  The CAG has warned the previous government to change its method. Actions should be taken if the members speak in a way that misleads the legislative Assembly, he commented.

Harish Rao said in the Assembly, I did not mislead the Assembly,  CM Revanth became the new Chief Minister, It will take some time to understand everything.  Funds taken on Kaleswaram were not taken for Kaleswaram project alone.  Used for many projects like Palamuru Ranga Reddy, International Finance companies will not come if the state is in debt.  People’s decisions are final.  Bring funds with your wits.  don’t defame the previous government.  don’t make excuses for us.  They made comments saying don’t damage the reputation of Telangana by being angry with us.
