CM Revanth, Minister Uttam express deep condolences over Gurpreet Singh’s death in SLBC tunnel

Hyderabad, March 9: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed deep condolences over the death of Gurpreet Singh in the SLBC tunnel accident.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the bereaved family. 

The body of Gurpreet Singh, a native of Punjab, was recovered today from the SLBC tunnel, where a recent accident had occurred. 

ఎస్ఎల్‌బీసీ టన్నెల్‌ ప్రమాదంలో పంజాబ్‌కు చెందిన మిషన్ ఆపరేటర్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్న గురుప్రీత్‌ సింగ్ గారు మృతి చెందడం పట్ల ముఖ్యమంత్రి @revanth_anumula గారు తీవ్ర సంతాపం తెలియజేశారు. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో 8 మంది ఆచూకీ లభించకపోగా, ఈరోజు గురుప్రీత్ సింగ్‌ గారి మృతదేహం లభ్యమైంది.

Gurpreet Singh worked as a tunnel boring machine (TBM) operator in the SLBC tunnel. He was employed by the American company Robinson and served as a TBM operator. 

The body of Gurupreet Singh was found in SLBC tunnel today.

They assured support to the family by announcing a compensation of Rs 25 lakh and arranged for the mortal remains to be sent to his native village in Punjab. (Maxim News)
