Hyderabad, March 9: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed deep condolences over the death of Gurpreet Singh in the SLBC tunnel accident

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the bereaved family. 

The body of Gurpreet Singh, a native of Punjab, was recovered today from the SLBC tunnel, where a recent accident had occurred. 

Gurpreet Singh worked as a tunnel boring machine (TBM) operator in the SLBC tunnel. He was employed by the American company Robinson and served as a TBM operator

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed sorrow over his demise and conveyed their deep condolences

They assured support to the family by announcing a compensation of Rs 25 lakh and arranged for the mortal remains to be sent to his native village in Punjab. (Maxim News)
