CM Revanth Reddy Absent In Defamation Case

Hyderabad, Sept 25 (Maxim News): The hearing of the defamation case against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been adjourned. Nampally People’s Representative Court has adjourned the hearing of a defamation case filed by BJP leader Kasam Venkateshwarlu to October 16. BJP leader Kasam Venkateshwarlu has filed a defamation case alleging that CM Revanth Reddy spread false propaganda against his party during the Parliamentary elections.

In the petition, Revanth said that if the BJP comes to power, the SC and ST reservations will be lifted.  The Court has already issued a summons to Revanth Reddy to attend the hearing on September 25 in this case. Revanth Reddy’s lawyer told the court that the CM was busy with official activities. With this, the court ordered a personal bond and a surety of Rs. 15 thousand.  (Maxim News)
