CM Revanth Reddy Political Rise Boosted by Key Wins
- Jubilee Hills bypoll win boosts CM Revanth Reddy’s standing
- Global Rising Summit and Messi match add to Revanth Reddy’s image
CM Revanth Reddy | Hyderabad, Dec. 15: The political graph of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is rising steadily. Over the past two months, a series of developments have worked clearly in his favour.
The Jubilee Hills by election result, followed by the successful Global Rising Summit and the high profile football match with a global football legend, have helped him gain new supporters.
These events have also brought him closer to several sections of society. Observers say these developments have given him wider recognition at both national and international levels.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy’s grip has strengthened within the administration and the party. The campaign suggesting a gap between Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has now been proved false.
In fact, within a month, Revanth Reddy met Rahul Gandhi twice. Supporters and party workers recall that Rahul Gandhi travelled from Delhi to watch the football match played by Revanth Reddy.
Political analysts believe that in the coming days, the Chief Minister may further tighten his control over both the government machinery and the party organisation.
The Jubilee Hills by election attracted attention across the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally took charge of the campaign.
He coordinated ministers and MLAs and handled the candidate selection with a clear strategy. As a result, the Congress victory became easier.
Meanwhile, leaders from the rival camp, who were confident of their win, were left deeply disappointed by the outcome.
CM Revanth Reddy Political Rise
The Congress candidate secured a huge majority, one of the highest in the constituency’s election history. This victory drew praise for Revanth Reddy from different sections. As a result, he now faces little resistance within the party and the government.
The Global Rising Summit, organised to mark two years of Congress rule, also turned out to be a success. The government invited prominent global and domestic figures to the event.
Companies and institutions came forward to invest around Rs 5.75 lakh crore. Industrial, IT, pharma, biotechnology and real estate leaders said the summit helped clear earlier doubts and misconceptions about investing in the state.
They also expressed confidence that industrial and real estate activities would gain fresh momentum.
The Messi match further added hype to the celebrations. As part of the two year governance events, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy successfully arranged for international football legend Lionel Messi’s tour to Hyderabad.
Being a football player himself, Revanth Reddy took part in warm up matches before playing alongside Messi. News of the match created huge excitement, with fans rushing for tickets at the Uppal Stadium.
Rahul Gandhi’s visit from Delhi to watch the match added further interest among Congress circles. Bringing a global football icon to Hyderabad and playing with him boosted Revanth Reddy’s reputation at the international level.
However, some party supporters expressed dissatisfaction, saying the Congress social media team failed to fully highlight these achievements.
