CM Revanth Reddy Prioritizes Student Input for Osmania University Development

Hyderabad, Dec. 5 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Osmania University on December 10 to oversee development plans.

CM directed officials to prioritize student and faculty opinions in the university’s upcoming development projects. The final development plan is expected by the end of this month.

The CM reviewed various development models covering hostels, roads, academic blocks, and auditorium designs. He suggested several modifications and recommended using Urban Forestry funds to enhance the university’s forested areas.

Protecting existing water bodies and creating new ones is a key focus. Hostels and academic buildings will be expanded to accommodate 10% more students to avoid future overcrowding.

Revanth Reddy emphasized preserving heritage buildings while constructing new infrastructure for non-heritage structures.

CM Revanth prioritized the installation of cycle tracks, walking paths, and symbolic structures representing historic Osmania student movements.

The CM instructed officials to gather feedback through drop boxes and a dedicated website, ensuring students and faculty shape the development.

The review meeting involved key advisors and university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor and principal officers.
