CM Revanth Reddy Urges PM Modi To Sanction Regional Rail Ring Project Akin To RRR

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News):  Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the Cherlapalli terminal will be very useful for the people.  On Monday morning, the Cherlapalli railway terminal was inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the program and spoke. He thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Telangana for completing the railway terminal.  He said that he wants permission to be given for a railway line to the Bandar Port.  He said that the establishment of a dry port in Telangana would be useful.  He said that Telangana is a caretaker address for the pharma industry.  He asked for permission to manufacture electric vehicles.  He said that the construction of a 374 km regional ring road is underway.  He said that there is also a need for a regional rail.  He said that he wants permission to be given for a rail ring.  He asked for permission to be given for the construction of a railway line from Vikarabad to Karnataka via Kodangal.  

He said that he wants Telangana to be part of fulfilling the aim of the Prime Minister to make India a 5 trillion economy, which all states should develop. He said that Telangana State also wants to participate in this. He revealed that setting up a dry port would also be beneficial for the development of the state. CM Revanth Reddy requested the Prime Minister to permit the development programs they need to contribute to the 1 trillion economy.

Meanwhile, it is known that Cherlapalli has been developed as the fourth terminal to reduce the pressure on Secunderabad, Nampally, and Kacheguda railway stations and to avoid traffic congestion in the city.  This terminal, but at a cost of about Rs. 428 crores throughout six and a half years, will provide better transport facilities to passengers from the suburbs.  Also, from January 7, an additional stoppage has been set up at Cherlapalli for the Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad (12757-12758), Guntur-Secunderabad-Guntur Express (17201-17202), and Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad Express (17233-17234) trains, officials said.  Officials said that trains (12603-12604) going from Hyderabad station to Chennai Central will operate from March 7, while trains (12539-12590) going from Gorakhpur to Secunderabad will operate from Cherlapalli Terminal from March 12.
