Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): Good news for girls studying in government colleges in Telangana!. Revanth Reddy’s government is giving away electric scooters to help them zip around in style and safety.

Keeping promises, making progress: Remember that promise Congress made before the elections? They said they’d give scooters to girls turning 18. Well, they’re keeping their word!

Who gets a scooter? Around 5 lakh girls studying in government colleges across Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal districts could soon be riding electric scooters. That’s a lot of happy faces!

How much will it cost? The government is setting aside Rs 350 crore for this grand plan. Each scooter is expected to cost about Rs 50,000, but don’t worry, the government will work with the center to get some money back, making it cheaper.
