CM Revanth To Visit Warangal Tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct 30 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to give priority to the procurement of paddy in Telangana.  Everyone should be in the field. He has issued orders that immediate action should be taken against officials who neglect to submit reports. He also said that he will visit Warangal and Husnabad tomorrow.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a video conference with the collectors and senior officials of the cyclone-affected districts.  Minister Tummala nageswara Rao, Ponnam prabhakar, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venat Reddy, konda Surekha, Vakiti Srihari, CM Advisor Vem narender Reddy, Government Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, CM Principal Secretary Seshadri, Secretary Vemula Srinivasulu, DGP Shivdhar Reddy, HMWSSB MD Ashok Reddy, collectors and senior officials of the cyclone-affected districts attended the event.

On this occasion, CM Revanth Reddy said, All departments should work jointly.  The Civil Supplies Department should give appropriate instructions to the collectors from time to time on the steps to be taken at the field level at the grain procurement centers in the cyclone-affected areas.  A mandal-level officer should be appointed as a special officer for each procurement center and given responsibility.  Steps should be taken to move the grain to the nearest function halls where necessary.  A report should be submitted to the collector every day on the situation every 24 hours from each grain procurement center.  Immediate action should be taken against the officials who neglect to submit the report.

The District Collector and District SP should jointly set up a monitoring center.  The condition of damaged roads should be monitored from time to time and traffic should be diverted.  The conditions near ponds, streams, major and minor irrigation projects, and low-level culverts should be identified and the locals should be alerted in advance.  The Meteorological Department has warned that the cyclone will affect 16 districts.  Even though advance measures have been taken on this.  This is the rice harvesting season.  The farmers are suffering from the unexpected turble.  The authorities should be alert.  We are instructing the Collectors to cancel everyone’s holidays and ensure that they visit the field

The Electricity Department should be alert due to the power outage due to strong winds.  People should be made aware not to come on the roads unless necessary.  Steps should be taken to provide emergency medical services where necessary.

In the wake of the cyclone’s impact in Warangal, HYDRA services should be used wherever necessary.  The situation should be reviewed 24 hours a day.  The ministers of the joint districts should coordinate with the authorities and alert the collectors from time to time.  The district collectors should inform the relevant district in-charge minister from time to time.  In the wake of the overflowing of the streams, the local people should be alerted and accidents should be prevented.  The Inflow and outflow of projects should be monitored from time to time.  One should be vigilant at all times to prevent loss of life, loss of livestock, and loss of crops.  No one’s life should be lost.

Today’s sudden visit to Warangal has been postponed due to weather conditions.  An aerial survey will be conducted in Warangal and Husnabad areas tomorrow.  The ministers in charge of the cyclone-affected districts should be available at the field level.  They should visit the field level and be available to the people from time to time.  Efforts should be made to support them.  The government is ready to support the people.  (Maxim News)
