CM Revanth’s Agreement With Another University In America

Hyderabad, Aug 10 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy‘s America tour continues successfully. The Congress government is agreeing with the big companies of America to invest in the state. So far 11 companies have come forward to invest in Telangana. More and more companies are showing interest in investing.

Revanth’s team is holding meetings with the leaders and representatives of leading companies in the US and signing agreements.

Recently, Stanford University in California has come forward to work with the Congress government.  Revanth Reddy, Industries and Commerce Minister D. Sridhar Babu, and its delegation visited Stanford University on Saturday. Met with senior representatives from Standford Ford Byers Center for Biodesign.

On this occasion, innovations in health care, education, and skill development were mainly discussed.  The government has invited them to participate in the Young India Skill University and the new Life Sciences University to be established in the state. Opinions were expressed in this meeting to carry out joint research along with programs to share advanced knowledge.

Discussions were held on the feasibility of setting up Stanford Biodesign Satellite Center in Telangana, the Chief Minister shared with them his ideas to connect Biodesign innovations under the auspices of Stanford to academic and health care departments in the state.

After the meeting, Dr. Anurag Mairal and Dr. Josh Makover, heads of the Biodesign department of the university announced that they will provide adequate support to the Revanth government. They submitted a letter to the CM expressing their interest. He mentioned that the state government is focusing on developing the huge medical equipment industry, which will provide employment opportunities to the youth on a large scale. In that letter, the Chief Minister made it clear that he would support education and innovations in medical devices.

Speaking on this occasion, Revanth Reddy said that sharing a partnership with a famous university like Stanford will pave new paths for the future of the youth of the state. He said that Stanford sought partnerships to provide skills development to youth in the field of health care. He said that the state is already at the forefront of industries and innovations in the country. He expressed the opinion that if world-class departments like Stanford Biodesign come together, the government’s desired goal in skills development will be fulfilled.

He said that this partnership will be crucial not only for the growth of Telangana but also for the whole world in the field of health care. 

Minister Sridhar Babu said that the goal of Young India Skills University and Life Sciences University to be established in Telangana in partnership with Stanford will be fulfilled.  The Minister revealed that the growth of life sciences and healthcare industries in Telangana will take another step forward.  (Maxim News)
