CM Visits Kaleshwaram Project, Has Aerial View Of Lakshmi Barrage
Hyderabad, Feb.13 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today paid a visit to the Kaleshwaram project.
Along with ministers Etala Rajender, G Kamalakar and Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, CMO official Smitha Sabharwal and officials, the Chief Minister took an aerial view of Lakshmi Barrage. The barrage was built as part of the Kaleshwaram project. KCR inspected the site at the Pranahitha river and offered coins into the Godavari. He asked the engineering and irrigation officials about functioning of the project, pumps and lifts.
Earlier, the Chief Minister got traditional welcome at the site. At Muktheshwara temple, the Chief Minister offered a sari and participated in special pujas. Temple priests offered blessings to the Chief Minister. He also held a review meeting with officials of Karimnagar district. He instructed the district officials to focus on development and welfare.
The meeting gets significance as the Chief Minister is to start Pattana Pragati program on the lines of Palle Pragati that achieved better results. “Coordinate and monitor the programs and ensure speedy services to people”, he advised the officials. (Maxim News)
