Hyderabad, Aug.18 (Maxim News): Panchayat Raj Minister, Jupally Krishna Rao today directed officials concerned to complete works of Singotam and Somashila circuit works by August end for promotion of eco tourism. He conducted a review meeting on these to works at Secretariat here and said that there is ample scope for promotion of eco tourism and development tourist spots. The works being taken up under Swadesh Darshan program should be completed expeditiously he said. The officials informed that Rs 20 cr being spent for Somashila and Rs 8 cr for Singotam works.
The minister warned of serious action against the contractors if failed to complete related works on time and as per norms. They will be put under block-list and the works will be given to others for completion he warned. Tourism Managing Director Manohar said that 90 per cent of the works are completed and the rest will be completed soon as per schedule and norms. Krishna Rao discussed on the projects with Ahmedabad Architect Naren Goel and officials. Goel informed that he gave the plans of Vishakhapatnam beach and Kakinada beach. He also said that he will make efforts and will prepare plan for Singotam and Somasila for tourism development. (Maxim News)
