Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): HMWSSB Managing Director M. Dana Kishore, reviewed Operations and Maintenance (O&M) works, Revenue collection issues here on Monday at Board Office.
He directed the General Managers (E) to expedite and complete the pending works asked by Corporators/MLAs.
He said that all the hotspots of frequent sewerage overflows, pollution complaints should be completed within two months. He said consumer vigilant groups be informed in these localities.
He instructed the General Managers(E) O&M wing to ensure that silt chambers were got constructed by all customers particularly hostels, hotels, messes, hospitals, function halls, dairy farms in their sewerage outflows chambers to prevent chokages.
Construction of silt chambers will be mandatory for all the new water supply connections, he said.
Regarding Revenue collections, he said a minimum target of Rs 100 crores should be achieved during this month.
The delegation of powers for enhanced waiver of interest given to Managers (Engg.). Dy.General Managers(Engg.), General Managers(Engg.), Chief General Managers(Engg.) O&M Wing has been extended till 31st March 2017.
He reiterated that disconnection of water supply/sewerage connections of commercial defaulters should continue, and ensure that all the commercial connection defaulters for more than Six months should be disconnected invariably. Red Corner Notices should be displayed on the premises of defaulters including Government Offices to pay up their arrears.
The Managing Director stressed the need to redress customer complaints on priority basis. The General Managers(Engg.) should concentrate on JAL App complaints to reduce MCC Complaints; GMITHRA Complaints(Twitter, Face book Complaints).
Further he said Managers (Engg.), Dy. General Managers (Engg.), General Managers(Engg.) should inspect along with linemen during water supply timings and generate JAL Apps complaints.
The Managing Director also reviewed about progress of HUDCO Project with Project officers and implementing agencies. He reiterated to expedite and complete the work as per time schedules.
