Condition Imposed Of Submitting Caste And Income Certificates Making Poor BCs To Run For Weeks

Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): BC beneficiaries are struggling to get the financial assistance of Rs. one lakh announced by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government.

The poor BC are seen lining up in front of Tahsildar offices for caste and income verification documents required for applying for financial assistance. Recently, beneficiaries have had to wait for days for caste and income verification documents.

At each Tahsildar office, thousands of applications are pending. The beneficiaries are complaining that the MRO authorities are delaying in issuing these certificates. The victims complain that they have been going around the Tahsildar’s office for ten days, but the authorities are not paying attention. If 5000 applications are pending in Karimnagar Urban Tehsildar’s office alone, how many more applications can be pending in the offices of other Mandals in the districts and cities? The Tahsildar office officials say that the process of issuance of certificates will be delayed as the servers are not working properly at the time of processing applications, which is why it is said that application documents are increasing day by day.

Meanwhile, in Metpalli of Jagityala district, since yesterday (June 14), people have been protesting near the Tahsildar’s office for income certificates. Women are queuing for certificates near the office even at night. The victims are alleging that even after leaving all the work and going around the Tahsildar’s office, they are not giving certificates, However, the authorities are delaying issuing the certificates required to apply for the financial assistance given to the BCs. The victims are demanding that the application deadline be extended. (Maxim News)
