Cong Moving Courts Is Wrong: Nayini
Hyderabad, Oct.8 (Maxim News): Caretaker Home Minister, Nayini Narsimha Reddy today criticised the Congress leaders for moving courts, instead of the election commission, in the name of mistakes and irregularities in the electoral rolls in the wake of polls due in December.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, he accused the congress leaders for trying to malign the image of the government by stating that lakhs of names of the voters were deleted. His comments were considered significance as the former minister and congress leader DK Aruna moved the court against the dissolution of the house while other leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy filed a plaint in the court and EC on alleged deletion of lakhs of voters names.
He threw a challenge to Shashidhar Reddy to contest and win against minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav from Sanathnagar segment if he has guts. The congress regime is noted for swindling of funds in the name of projects and did not complete them, he charged. Any political party can file complaints to the EC on the issues pertaining to the electoral rolls and there is no meaning in moving the courts, he said. Narsimha Reddy said that the congress is indulging in making false promises which cannot be implemented.
Due to fear of defeat in the elections, the congress leaders are resorting to baseless allegations against the ruling party, he said. Reddy also expressed displeasure over the congress comments that the TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao had no role in achieving statehood for Telangana. It is a known fact that Telangana got statehood only following the long drawn out fight by KCR, he stated.
Telangana Jana Samithi Chief Kodandaram is bowing to the Congress leadership for just three seats and Revanth Reddy has no right to talk of martyrs. He alleged that Utham Kumar Reddy as housing minister was involved in irregularities and now making tall promises to misguide the people. The BJP is day dreaming to get power and it will not retain its existing seats. The women would teach a lesson to the congress for stalling bathukamma sarees distribution.(Maxim News)
