Cong Strength Declining With More MLAs Opting To Switch Over TRS

Hyderabad, March 9 (Maxim News): The number of TRS MLAs in Telangana State ahead of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections is likely to increase with some Congress leaders set to join it sooner.

Congress MLA from Nakirekal Chirumarty Lingaiah of previous Nalgonda district and some other senior leaders are set to join the ruling party very soon. Lingaiah is learnt to have getting ready to join the ruling party as two tribal leaders Atram Sakku and Rega Kantha Rao have already announced to join the TRS. With the TRS party luring the MLAs of the main Opposition, the Congress MLAs number is on decline day after day which may fall to 16 or 15 soon,

The TRS leadership was ready to invite them into its fold, according to information. Lingaiah, who was very close to Komatireddy brothers — Rajgopal Reddy and Venkat Reddy — belongs to the same village and will join the ruling party. The Congress party is learnt to have made a vain bid to convince Lingaiah to stay put in the party. As Lingaiah was not available on phone and also his close aides switched off their cell phones. Thus, the congress is at the receiving end as its legislators are joining the ruling party in the name of development. (Maxim News)
