Congress Meeting At Kamareddy Postponed Due To Heavy Rains Forecast  

Hyderabad, Sept 12 (Maxim News): Congress proposed a public meeting called BC Maha Garjana, which was planned to be held in Kamareddy on the 15th of this month has been postponed due to heavy rain forecast.  The date of its re-organization will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the PCC has taken this decision in the wake of the meteorological Department warning that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the entire Nizamabad region from tomorrow to the present.

The Congress had planned to convene this meeting in the wake of the passage of bills to implement a 42% quota for BC reservations in the Assembly.  It had also invited top Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and others to this meeting.  The meeting was postponed.  (Maxim News)
