Hyderabad, March.5 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and his party leaders condemned the arrest of party MP A. Revanth Reddy by the State Police on Thursday.
He and other Congress leaders like former minister Shabbir Ali, AICC secretary SA Sampath Kumar, TPCC Vice President Mallu Ravi alleged that the State was witnessing a dictator’s rule. They wondered as to how an MP was arrested by the police. They asked the State government whether they would arrest all those who questioned their illegal acts.
They also alleged that the State was witnessing CM KCR’s Kalvakuntla Constitution instead of Indian constitution. They called upon the intellectuals, educationists and those who believe in democracy to think about such “brutal and cruel” acts. They urged them to come forward and fight against such arbitrary acts of the rulers of the State government. (Maxim News)
