Congress Minorities Dept plans ‘Eid Milap’ event on 31st July

Hyderabad, July 29: Hyderabad Congress Minorities’ Dept will conduct ‘Eid Milap‘ function on 31st July at Red Rose Function Hall, Nampally.

According to Hyderabad Congress Minorities’ Department Chairman Sameer Waliullah, the ‘Eid Milap’ is being organised in view of the recently celebrated Eid-ul-Adha. “We could not organise Dawat-e-Iftar or Eid Milap for the last two years in view of Covid-19 situation. Since all the restrictions have been now lifted, we’ve decided to organise ‘Eid Milap’ function, but under strict Covid protocols,” he informed.

Sameer Waliullah said that newly appointed Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A. Revanth Reddy, MP, and his new team would also be felicitated on the occasion. AICC Incharge Manickam Tagore, MP, will be the Chief Guest while the programme will be presided by Former Minister & ex-Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir.

He said all important leaders of the Congress party in Telangana, eminent personalities from various walks of life and media have been invited for the event. He also clarified that the entry to the event would be only through an invitation in view of Coronavirus protocols.

Meanwhile, TPCC Spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin has appealed to all the guests to attend the event by taking all necessary precautions like wearing of masks and social distancing. (Maxim News)
