Hyderabad, June 19: On Monday, the Congress party initiated a district outreach program to commemorate the birthday of AICC leader Rahul Gandhi. The extended Executive Meeting of Viqarabad District Congress Minority Department took place at Manneguda, with TPCC Minorities Dept Chairman Shaik Abdullah Sohail as the Chief Guest.

Attending the meeting were several senior leaders, including Viqarabad District Minority Chairman Ayub Ansari, Khairtabad District (Hyderabad Central) Chairman Arham Adil, State General Secretary Azeem Patel, and other prominent figures. As part of the birthday celebration, they also participated in a Blood Donation camp organized in Chevella constituency, Ranga Reddy district.

During the meeting, Abdullah Sohail urged party members to distribute the ‘Chargesheet Against BRS Govt on Minorities issues,’ which was released by AICC Minorities Dept Chairman Imran Pratapgarhi the previous month, to every household in their respective districts.

An informative audio-visual presentation highlighting the failures of the BRS Government in handling minority welfare was also showcased. Sohail emphasized that the government had failed to address crucial concerns such as employment, loans, housing, and education for minorities. Furthermore, he pointed out the neglect of the Urdu language, the demolition of six mosques during the BRS regime, the destruction of Wakf properties, and the inadequate utilization of allocated funds for minority welfare. Sohail also criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for systematically reducing the representation of Muslims and other minorities in government institutions.
