Congress Plans to Loot ₹50,000 Crore in the Name of LRS: Bandi Sanjay
Peddapalli/Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, has once again made strong allegations against the Congress government in Telangana. He questioned, “Will they charge money for implementing LRS, which they promised to do for free?” He also challenged Congress leaders to engage in a public debate on the Union Budget if they have the courage.
As part of the MLC election campaign, Bandi Sanjay visited the Peddapalli district today. Speaking at the event, he accused the Congress government of planning to loot ₹50,000 crores from the people of Telangana under the guise of the Land Regularization Scheme (LRS).
“You promised free LRS during the elections—why are you going back on your word now?” he asked, referring to earlier campaign pledges made by Congress leaders. He further questioned whether the government would soon introduce birth and death regularization schemes as well.
The Union Minister also dared the Congress party to hold a protest at 10 Janpath on the issue of BC reservations if they truly believed in their cause. “If you have confidence in the Union Budget, face a public debate,” he added.
Referring to the upcoming MLC elections, Bandi Sanjay described them as a battle between the betrayal of trust by Congress and the struggles of the BJP. He urged voters to ensure the victory of BJP candidates in the elections.
Meanwhile, polling for the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduate and Teacher MLC seats and the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teacher MLC seats is scheduled for February 27. Preparations for the Graduate and Teacher MLC elections have reached the final stage. (Maxim News)
