BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said the Congress and its leaders should stop making childish statements. He criticised the opposition for its remarks at a time when tensions remain high in West Asia. The exchange shows a sharp political divide over India’s position and response to the situation in the region.

The Congress, however, maintained that its concern is about the safety of Indians and the need to reduce tensions. The BJP, on the other hand, defended the Prime Minister and rejected the criticism. The issue has now turned into a fresh political flashpoint between the two parties.
