Congress to Hold Satyagraha to Expose Centre

Hyderabad, June 19 (Maxim News): Congress has decided to hold Satyagraha Deeksha following instructions from AICC and paddy supremo Sonia Gandhi.

Revealing the details about the program, former minister Dr J. Geeta Reddy said they would hold the Deeksha to expose the Centre and its failure before people’s court.

Targeting the Union government, she alleged that the Central government was playing with the lives of the youth of the country in the name of the Agneepath scheme instead of holding a discussion on the scheme in Parliament.

She said the Centre was turning the system of soldiers into a contract job system with the help of the Agneepath scheme besides putting the security of the country at risk.

Geeta Reddy said it was gross injustice to keep the army service under the controversial scheme for just four years and added that the scheme was also meant to reduce the burden of pensions being paid to the retired soldiers from the shoulders of the Central government. She alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduces schemes only to benefit his friends like Adani and Ambani.

She also alleged that Modi government was mounting pressure on Srilanka government to help his friend Adani and added that Srilanka people were opposing the entry of Adani into their country and were holding agitations on roads against the proposed move of the Sri Lanka government.

Targeting the TRS government, she asked the ruling party leaders on what basis they kept their party’s flag on the dead body of Rakesh, who died in police shooting at Secunderabad railway station? She demanded that the Central government withdraw the controversial Agneepath scheme like it withdrew the controversial three farm laws. (Maxim News)
