Congress will visit every house in Munugode from September 1
Hyderabad, August 30: To intensify campaign for by-election, TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said that the Congress leaders and workers will visit every house in Munugode Assembly constituency from September 1 and urge voters to cast their valuable votes for the Congress candidate.
Speaking to the media here, he accused the TRS and BJP of forming committees to encourage defections from other political parties. “The TRS and BJP are trying to poach ZPTCs, MPTCs, sarpanches, and councillors of the Congress ahead of by-poll,” he alleged.
Telangana Congress chief did not agree with the claim of BJP leader Komatreddy Rajgopal Reddy that the TRS government has sanctioned funds for developmental works in Munugode segment after he tendered resignation to MLA post.
Revanth further said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) did injustice to combined Nalgonda district as he failed to get national status to Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation project and kept Dindi lift-irrigation project pending.
