*Hyderabad, March 24: (Maxim News) District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that a District Grievance Committee has been formed in the office of the District Election Officer to release the seized cash as per the rules of the Election Commission

Additional Commissioner Smt. D. as the Chairman of the District Grievance Committee. Sarojanu, Election Expenditure Monitoring Nodal Officer as Convener V. Sarath Chandra, Hyderabad DTO Vasundhara, and GHMC Joint Commissioner Sandhya have been appointed as members.

According to the rules of the Election Commission, cash that is being taken/transported without evidence will be seized beyond 50,000 rupees.

He said that if the concerned persons submit complete proofs regarding the seized cash to the District Grievance Committee, the committee will look into it and if there is proper evidence, the seized cash will be released.

Those affected by the cash siege are advised to approach the District Grievance Committee on the second floor of the GHMC headquarters with full proof.

In connection with the seized cash above ten lakhs, it is mentioned that the Income Tax Department office in Hyderabad should be contacted. (Maxim News)
