Construction of 2 BHK housing Scheme at Jiyaguda
Hyderabad, Dec 8 (Maxim News): Construction of 2 BHK housing Scheme will be taken up at Jiyaguda with all basic infrastructure by removing the dilapidated hire purchase quarters said Commissioner here today.
Dr.Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner GHMC, held a meeting with the Representatives of Jiyaguda Hire purchase quarters GHMC to have a consensus on the construction on the proposed 2 BHK housing scheme by removing the dilapidated quarters.
In the meeting the representatives of the Jiya guda hire purchase quarters have raised some of the problems and given suggestions while taking up the constructions, tentatively agreed for taking up construction of double bed room housing scheme and the Commissioner clarified their apprehensions and said
1.Priority will be given to the existing occupants while allotting them as per their request and rest as per the scheme rules by conducting Grama Sabha.
2.Construction will be taken up only on taking particulars of the occupants and giving authentication letters to the original occupants.
3.Providing Roads, water supply and electricity in the colony.
4.Feasibility on taking up phase wise construction in order to reduce the rent burden those who shifted.
5.To accommodate in other Govt. quarters during construction period.
6.To provide all basic infrastructures like open space for parking, providing lift.
7.Since, the construction cost is borne by the government there is no provision for compensation during the gestation period.
8.Maintenance of common expenses like lift, Common lighting and others will be made on the income generated by allotting shops on rent basis so that no burden on the residents.
Sri. Adwait Kumar Singh, IAS, Additional Commissioner, Sri.Bhaskara Chary, Addl.Commissioner UCD and other senior officials attended the meeting.
