Hyderabad: Container House in Basara has begun attracting devotees visiting the famous Basara Saraswati temple in Nirmal district. Special container rooms have been set up to offer comfortable stay options for pilgrims coming to the temple. According to the available details, these container houses include bedrooms, toilet facilities, and air conditioning, making them a convenient option for visitors.
The container rooms have drawn attention due to their modern facilities and compact design. Organisers involved in the initiative said the rooms were created to meet the growing demand for accommodation near the Basara Saraswati temple. As the temple sees a steady flow of devotees throughout the year, the container house concept aims to offer an alternative stay arrangement close to the temple area. Therefore, the initiative has also started attracting tourists visiting Basara.
Officials associated with the project said that 12 container rooms have been rented and set up for devotees. They added that the total cost of establishing these container houses has gone up to Rs. 70 lakh. The rooms are designed to provide basic comfort while ensuring privacy for families and individuals. Meanwhile, visitors have shown interest in staying in these rooms due to the availability of air conditioning and attached toilets.
The organisers noted that the container house model is drawing curiosity among tourists as well. Many visitors are keen to experience the stay, as such accommodation is still new in temple towns like Basara. Also, the location of these rooms near the Basara Saraswati temple adds to their appeal. As a result, footfall from tourists has increased along with regular devotees.
Basara Saraswati temple remains one of the most visited religious sites in Telangana. With rising visitor numbers, the need for better accommodation has grown over time. In this context, the container house initiative appears to address a specific demand. However, organisers have not shared further plans regarding expansion or additional facilities. For now, the container rooms continue to attract devotees and tourists seeking a comfortable stay during their temple visit.
