Finance Minister T Harish Rao called people to continue maintaining social distance, wear masks and keeping hands clean as precautionary measure though COVID-19 cases in Telangana have come down.
Appreciating the police, doctors, sanitation staff and other departments for their collective efforts in containing the spread of the novel coronavirus in the state, Rao has said that they could efficiently deal with the pandemic because they had an efficient and committed leader in Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao.
“We can save ourselves only with the collective effort. Even a single person’s irresponsible behavior at the time of emergency can land the entire State in trouble”, Rao sensitised the people.
Distributing a pack of essentials to poor brahmins at Integrated Office Complex in Gajwel on Tuesday, the minister has said that it is happy to see just two positive cases reporting in state on Monday.
He has further said that they will distribute Rs 1,500 cash and 12kgs of rice to all the ration cardholders in Telangana. Forest Development Corporation Chairman, Vanteru Prathap Reddy, Gajwel Area Development Authority, Special Officer, R Muthyam Reddy and others were present.
