Corona: 3,660 New Cases Reported in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,660 new Corona infections and 23 fatalities on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,060 and the total number of positive cases to 5,44,263. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday evening, stood at 45,757.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 69,252 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 2,435 samples were awaited. On Thursday, 4,826 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 91.03 per cent. So far, a total of 1,43,36,254 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,44,263 have tested positive and 4,95,446 persons have recovered.

The Covid positive cases reported from the districts included  16 from Adilabad, 121 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 574 from areas under GHMC, 93 from Jagtial, 38 from Jangaon, 45 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 55 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 31 from Kamareddy, 147 from Karimnagar, 217 from Khammam, 23 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 128 from Mahabubnagar, 72 from Mahabubabad, 108 from Mancherial, 47 from Medak, 218 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 51 from Mulugu, 118 from Nagarkurnool, 166 from Nalgonda, 33 from Narayanpet, 18 from Nirmal, 59 from Nizamabad, 120 from Peddapalli, 66 from Rajanna Siricilla, 247 from Rangareddy, 106 from Sangareddy, 116 from Siddipet, 110 from Suryapet, 112 from Vikarabad, 80 from Wanaparthy, 103 from Warangal Rural, 131 from Warangal Urban and 91 from Yadadri Bhongir.
