Corona: 3,816 New Cases Reported in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,816 new Corona infections and 27 fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,955 and the total number of positive cases to 5,28,823. The number of active cases in Telangana as on Sunday evening stood at 50,969.

Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 44,985 Covid tests of which results of 1,396 samples were awaited. On Sunday, 5,892 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 89.80 per cent. So far, a total of 1,40,61,725 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,28,823 have tested positive and 4,74,899 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 18 from Adilabad, 152 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 658 from areas under GHMC, 135 from Jagtiyal, 54 from Jangaon, 76 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 86 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 25 from Kamareddy, 152 from Karimnagar, 151 from Khammam, 17 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 142 from Mahabubnagar, 90 from Mahabubabad, 89 from Mancherial, 44 from Medak, 293 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 26 from Mulugu, 131 from Nagarkurnool, 51 from Nalgonda, 31 from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal, 66 from Nizamabad, 88 from Peddapalli, 87 from Rajanna Siricilla, 326 from Rangareddy, 143 from Sangareddy, 138 from Siddipet, 52 from Suryapet, 135 from Vikarabad, 129 from Wanaparthy, 56 from Warangal Rural, 124 from Warangal Urban and 37 from Yadadri Bhongir.
