Corona: India Records 10,158 New Cases, 15 Deaths

India | Delhi/Hyderabad, April 13 (Maxim News): India records 10,158 New coronavirus cases along with 15 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The number of active cases has increased to 44,998, according to the Union Health Ministry data and the data updated on Thursday showed.

This is the first time in eight months that new cases have been reported at this level. Medical sources make it clear that the number of cases in India will increase due to the XBB1.16 variant. However, the admissions in the hospitals are low, officials say are predicting that the number of new cases may increase significantly in the next 10 to 12 days. The medical field says that Corona will decrease after that. This means that the calculations make it clear that the coronavirus may be heavy throughout the month of April.

As the cases of corona are increasing, doctors are suggesting that everyone should wear a mask. Those with chronic diseases and the elderly should take appropriate precautions. Although the number of people admitted to the hospital is less than in the past, the number of deaths is also gradually increasing.

15 people died of corona in 24 hours. Up to 200 people are receiving treatment in hospitals. Private wards have been opened in private hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. (Maxim News)
