Corona: Telangana Records 4,298 New Cases, 32 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 4,298 new Corona infections and 32 fatalities on Saturday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,928 and the total number of positive cases to 5,25,007. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Saturday evening, is 53,072.

Between Friday and Saturday, authorities conducted 64,362 Covid tests of which results of 1,639 samples are awaited. On Saturday, 6,026 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 89.33 per cent. So far, a total of 1,40,16,740 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,25,007 have tested positive and 4,69,007 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 30 from Adilabad, 127 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 601 from areas under GHMC, 116 from Jagtial, 73 from Jangaon, 97 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 86 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 42 from Kamareddy, 173 from Karimnagar, 203 from Khammam, 27 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 161 from Mahabubnagar, 106 from Mahabubabad, 122 from Mancherial, 63 from Medak, 328 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 61 from Mulugu, 157 from Nagarkurnool, 199 from Nalgonda, 32 from Narayanpet, 28 from Nirmal, 76 from Nizamabad, 144 from Peddapalli, 64 from Rajanna Siricilla, 267 from Rangareddy, 106 from Sangareddy, 154 from Siddipet, 21 from Suryapet, 148 from Vikarabad, 107 from Wanaparthy, 126 from Warangal Rural, 160 from Warangal Urban and 93 from Yadadri Bhongir.
