Corona Third Wave May Last For 98 Days: Experts
According to the latest report released by the State Bank of India (SBI), experts have predicted that the average duration of the Corona third wave in India likely to be 98 days while the second wave may last for 108 days.
Hyderabad, June 3: According to the latest report released by the State Bank of India (SBI), experts have predicted that the average duration of the Corona third wave in India likely to be 98 days while the second wave may last for 108 days. They are of the view that intensity of the third wave will be severe compared to the present wave.
The report says that if serious cases decline from 20 per cent to 5 per cent in the third wave, then the deaths will reduce to 40,000 compared to current 1.7 lakh deaths in the ongoing second wave. SBI’s report stressed on the need for better medical infrastructure and speeding up vaccination to lower the death rate in the next wave.
