Coronavirus: 502 New Cases In Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana records 502 new coronavirus cases and three new deaths until 8 pm on Sunday.

The total number of confirmed cases in the state reached 2,57,876 while the fatalities touched 1,407.

The recovery cases went up to 2,42,084 with 1,539 persons testing negative for the virus in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 14,385 active cases out of which 11,948 are in home or institutional isolation.

Today 16 November 2020 Between Saturday and Sunday, 17,296 tests were conducted including 7,610 on primary contacts and 2,075 on secondary contacts. However, the samples of 502 turned positive and the reports of the remaining 208 are pending. The positive cases that reported include 141 from GHMC, 72 from Rangareddy, 33 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 26 from Sangareddy, 23 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 22 from Karimnagar, 21 from Siddipet, 17 from Khammam, 14 each from Mancherial and Nizamabad, 13 from Jagtial, 11 from Nagarkurnool, 9 each from Mahabubabad and Warangal Rural, 8 each from Mahabubnagar and Warangal Urban, 7 from Vikarabad, 6 from Sircilla, 4 each from Nirmal, Peddapalli, Nalgonda, Jangaon and Mulugu, 3 each from Wanaparthy and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 2 each from Adilabad and Medak, zero cases from Yadadri Bhongir and Narayanpet.
