Courses Will Commence In ‘Young India Skill University’ From Dussehra Festival: CS

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari said that courses will be started from the Dussehra festival in the ‘Young India Skill University‘, which was formed as per the wishes of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

She revealed that about 20 courses will be made available through Skill University. The Chief Secretary explained that it was decided to start six courses first.

High-Level Meeting On Skill University Opening

Shanti Kumari held a high-level meeting today, on the opening of the Skill University, procedures, courses, and other issues.

The Chief Secretary said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had laid the foundation stone for the construction work of Skill University on the 57-acre land allotted at Muchharla. Shanti Kumari said the classes will be held in the temporary building until the construction work is completed. She said that the classes will be held at Engineering Staff College of India, NAAC, or Gitam College, Anand Mahindra has already been appointed as the chairman of the university, and Srinivasa C. Raju as the co-chairman.

CS Shanti Kumari revealed that around 140 companies are interested in participating in the ‘Young India Skill University‘ and plans have been made to start around 20 courses.

Chief Secretary Reveal The Partners

CS Shanti Kumari stated that certificate and diploma courses will be started in the e-commerce and logistics retail department school first. She revealed that leading corporate companies in the country such as SBI, NAAC, Dr. Reddy, Adani, and CII have agreed to be partners. She mentioned that these institutes train students in various departments of their companies.

In this meeting, she directed the concerned officials to take steps to launch the University logo and website. She advised the officials to give priority to creating jobs with attractive wages for those who have completed the course.

Ramakrishna Rao, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Principal Secretaries of the State Finance and Industries Departments, Burra Venkatesham, Education Principal Secretary, Chief Secretary Seshadri, TGIIC MD Vishnuvardhan Reddy, State Council of  Higher Education Vice Chairman Prof. Venkataramana, Sriniraju, VVLS Subba Rao and others participated in this meeting.  (Maxim News)
