Adilabad: Two camp clerks of Adilabad Collector Sikta Patnaik and an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday. District Medical and Health Officer Dr Narender said that the trio were diagnosed with the acute respiratory disease. The three contracted the virus as per their medical reports declared on Friday.
Their blood samples were taken recently and sent to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad. According to the DMHO, the district so far registered 118 positive cases till Thursday and there were still 52 active cases. Blood samples of 60 suspects were gathered. An elderly person, an Assistant sub-inspector and another patient of Covid-19 died while undergoing treatment recently.
