COVID-19: AP Records 545 Cases, 10 Deaths
Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh: Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have seen a drastic fall on Monday. According to a bulletin released, as many as 47,130 samples were tested in the last 24 hours where another 545 positive cases were reported taking the total number of coronavirus cases across the state to 8,62,758 and ten people have been died in the past 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 6948.
The health ministry asserts 1,390 people had recovered in the past 24 hours, which brings the number of recovered from the coronavirus to 8,42,416. Another 13,394 are being treated at the hospital. The highest number of cases registered in the last 24 hours was 117 in Guntur followed by 104 in East Godavari district, 76 in West Godavari, 44 in Krishna, 32 in Chittoor district, 31 in Kadapa, 30 in Nellore, 25 in Prakasam, 21 in Visakhapatnam, 19 in Srikakulam and Anantapur, 17 in Vizianagaram, 10 in Kurnool district respectively.
Meanwhile, East Godavari district has the highest number of 1,21,728 positive cases in the state, followed by West Godavari district with 91,651 cases while Chittoor district has 83,126 cases. The state has conducted 96,62,220 tests overall.
