COVID-19 Cases Gradually Increasing In Country

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 2 (Maxim News): The cases of COVID-19 are gradually increasing in the country. Both the Central and State governments are advising people to be vigilant about Corona. It is suggested to wear masks to end the epidemic. In the past 24 hours, 173 new cases of Covid have been reported in the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, two people have died due to Covid-19.

Currently, there are 2,670 active cases in the country. So far 4.46 crore people have been infected with Corona in the country. The death toll has reached 5,30,707. While active cases are only 0.01 percent of the total infections, the recovery rate is 98.80 percent. The government revealed that the number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 4,41,45,445 and the case fatality rate has been recorded as 1.19 percent. So far 220.10 crore doses of covid vaccine have been given to people in the country

Presently, there are 326 active cases in Karnataka, 1,444 in Kerala, 161 in Maharashtra, 88 in Odisha, 79 in Rajasthan, 86 in Tamil Nadu, 49 in Uttar Pradesh, and 55 in West Bengal. (Maxim News)
