COVID-19 Cases Was 313 In First Week Of March, New 966 In The Third Week In Country 

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 31 (Maxim news):  The number of Covid-19 cases in the country has been increasing steadily, with the daily average of 313 in the first week of March, rising to 966 in the third week.  States like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Delhi are reporting the highest number of cases.

Presently, most of the Covid cases have flu-like symptoms like cough, running nose and fever.  It is said that only very few people need hospitalization, Dr. Atul Gogia of Delhi’s Sir Gangaram Hospital said it is more likely to affect the elderly, those with diabetes, chronic kidney  disease or obesity. 

At present generic drugs are available for treatment of Covid-19 only in hospitals.  However, this medicine should be given only to those who are at risk of hospitalization, depending on the severity of the disease.  Doctors say that those using BP and heart related medicines should take Covid-19 medicines as per the doctor’s prescription.
