COVID-19: Telangana Records 1083 Cases, 11 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 2083 new Covid-19 infections and 11 fatalities on Friday, which has pushed the overall toll to 530 and the cumulative number of positive cases in the State to 64,786.

The health authorities have conducted 21, 011 Covid-19 tests between Thursday and Friday night while results of 886 more swab samples are still pending. So far, 4,58,593 swab samples have been tested in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic out of which 64,786 have tested positive.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 17 from Adilabad, 35 from Bhadradri, 578 from areas under GHMC, 21 from Jagtiyal, 21 from Jangaon, 24 from Bhupalapally, 35 from Gadwal, 18 from Kamareddy, 108 from Karimnagar, 32 from Khammam, eight from Komarambheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 40 from Mahabubabad, 37 from Mancherial, 16 from Medak, 197 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, 18 from Nagarkurnool, 48 from Nalgonda, nine from Narayanpet, 25 from Nirmal, 73 from Nizamabad, 42 from Peddapally, 39 from Siricilla, 228 from Rangareddy, 101 from Sangareddy, 16 from Siddipet, 34 from Suryapet, 21 from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, 39 from Warangal Rural, 134 from Warangal Urban and 10 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
