COVID-19: Telangana Records 317 fresh Cases, 2 Deaths

Telangana on Friday registered 317 fresh coronavirus positive cases and two deaths pushing the cumulative number of cases to 2,84,391 while the death toll to 1,529. Meanwhile, the recovery cases went up to 2,76,244 with 536 persons getting recovered in a single day. At present, there are 6,618 active cases out of which 4,535 are in-home or institutional isolation.

Between Thursday and Friday, around 30,376 samples were tested including 13,365 on primary contacts and 3,645 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 317 turned positive and the reports of 384 are pending. So far, 66,86,363 tests have been conducted in Telangana.

The positive cases reported across the state include 71 from GHMC, 27 from Rangareddy, 25 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 17 from Sangareddy, 16 from Karimnagar, 11 each from Mancherial, Nalgonda and Warangal Urban, 9 each from Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nagarkurn

ool, Peddapalli, 8 each from Nizamabad and Siddipet, 6 each from Yadadri 

Bhongir, Warangal Rural, Vikarabad and Mahabubnagar, 5 each from Jagtial, Medak, Nirmal, Mulugu and Suryapet, 4 each from Adilabad and Jangaon, 3 each from Jogulamba Gadwal, Komarambheem Asifabad, one from Kamareddy and zero cases from Narayanpet district.
