COVID-19: Telangana Records 602 Cases, 3 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana records 602 coronavirus cases and 3 deaths in a single day taking total tally to 2,64,128 and death toll to 1,433. And the recovery rate went up to 2,51,468 with the recovery of 1,015 cases in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 11,227 active cases out of which 8,942 are in home or institutional isolation.

Between Saturday and Sunday, around 24,139 tests were conducted including 10,621 on primary contacts and 2,896 on secondary contacts. Meanwhile, the results of 602 turned positive and the reports of 281 are pending. So far, 51,58,474 tests have been conducted since the pandemic.

The positive cases reported from the state include 129 from GHMC, 62 from Rangareddy, 60 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 51 from Karimnagar, 34 from Jagtial, 27 from Warangal Urban, 25 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 24 from Sangareddy, 21 from Nalgonda, 18 each from Mancherial and Suryapet, 16 from 11 from Mahabubabad, 10 each from Nagarkurnool and Mahabubnagar, 9 from Warangal Rural, 8 from Mulugu, 6 each from Nizamabad and Rajanna Sircilla, 5 each from Jogulamba Gadwal, Medak and Peddapalli, 4 each from Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, 3 each from Nirmal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Kamareddy and Adilabad, 2 each from Jangaon and Yadadri Bhongir, one case from Komarambheem Asifabad, Narayanpet.
