COVID-19: Telangana Records 805 Cases, 4 Deaths
As many as 805 coronavirus positive cases were registered in Telangana in the last 24 hours taking the total count to 2,69,223. The death toll touched to 1,455 with four new persons succumbing to the virus in a single day. Meanwhile, the recovery count went up to 2,57,278 with the recovery of 948 persons in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 10,490 active cases including 8,367 persons in home or institutional isolation.
Around 46,200 samples were tested in the state between Friday and Saturday including 20,363 on primary contacts and 5,553 on secondary contacts. While the reports of 805 persons came positive and the results of 612 are awaited. So far, 54,20,421 tests have been conducted in the state.
The positive cases reported in Telangana include 131 from GHMC, 82 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 58 from Rangareddy, 42 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 40 from Khammam, 35 from Karimnagar, 32 from Nalgonda, 27 from Warangal Urban,24 from Sangareddy, 22 each from Rajanna Sircilla and Suryapet, 21 from Peddapalli, 18 from Mancherial, 17 each from Mahabubabad and Siddipet, 15 from Mahabubnagar and Nizamabad, 13 each from Kamareddy and Yadadri Bhongir, 11 each from Medak and Warangal Rural, 10 from Adilabad, 9 each from Vikarabad and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 8 from Wanaparthy, 7 from Nirmal, 5 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 4 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 2 from Narayanpet.
