COVID19: Hyderabad Reports 234 cases on Sunday out of 1,102 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana State has reported 1, 102 new Covid-19 infections and nine fatalities on Saturday taking the overall toll to 693 and the cumulative number of positive cases to 91, 361. The total number of active cases as on Saturday night in the State is 22, 542.

As many as 1930 persons in the State have recovered between Friday and Saturday night, pushing the overall number of recoveries in the State to 68, 126 with a recovery rate of 74.56 per cent while the countrywide recovery rate is at 71.6 per cent. According to the health bulletin, the mortality in the State is 0.75 per cent while the countrywide figure is 1.95 per cent.

Out of the 22, 542 active Covid positive patients, as many as 15, 502 Covid-19 positive patients are under home isolation across the State while 7, 040 positive cases are in institutional care.

The State health authorities have conducted 12, 120 Covid-19 tests till Saturday night while results of 1046 more swab samples are pending. So far, 7, 44, 555 swab samples have been tested in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic out of which 91, 361 have tested positive and 68, , 126 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 14 from Adilabad, 15 from Bhadradri, 234 from areas under GHMC, 11 from Jagtiyal, 16 from Jangaon, zero from Bupalapally, 17 from Gadwal, 13 from Kamareddy, 101 from Karimnagar, 46 from Khammam, three from Komarambheem Asifabad, 37 from Mahabubnagar, 21 from Mahabubabad, nine from Mancherial, 18 from Medak, 63 from Medchal Malkajgiri, eight from Mulugu, 29 from Nagarkurnool, 28 from Nalgonda, four from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, 33 from Nizamabad, 22 from Peddapally, 13 from Siricilla, 81 from Rangareddy, 66 from Sangareddy, 30 from Siddipet, 13 from Suryapet, eight from Vikarabad, 19 from Wanaparthy, 25 from Warangal Rural, 70 from Warangal Urban and 11 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
