CP Warning Shobha Yatra: Strict Action Assured

Hyderabad, March 27: V C Sajjanar said that police have completed all arrangements for the Shri Ram Shobha Yatra in the city. He also issued a clear warning that legal action will be taken against those who make provocative comments during the procession.

Speaking to ABN Andhra Jyothi on Friday, V C Sajjanar said that the Shri Ram Shobha Yatra will begin from the Sitarambagh temple at 2 pm. He added that officials have prepared a route plan to ensure the procession concludes by 10 pm. Meanwhile, police teams have already inspected the routes along with officials from different departments.

He further said that authorities will monitor the procession continuously using drones and CCTV cameras. Therefore, officials aim to maintain close surveillance across all areas of the route. He also stated that around three thousand personnel have been deployed to manage security during the yatra.

In addition, the Commissioner said that crime teams have been formed to watch for pickpockets. These teams will move along with the procession to prevent theft and ensure safety. Meanwhile, police have advised people not to make controversial or provocative comments during the event.

V C Sajjanar stressed that strict legal action will be taken against those who violate this warning. He added that authorities have taken proper precautions to avoid mistakes that occurred in the past. Therefore, police are focusing on smooth conduct and public safety during the Shobha Yatra.
