CPI, CPI-M Leaders Seek Meeting With KCR
Hyderabad, Nov.27 (Maxim News): CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and CPI-M State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram has written a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao seeking a meeting with him and also to convene an all-party committee meeting to discuss about the consequences of the RTC men’s indefinite strike.
In the letter, the Communist leaders informed Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao that the families of RTC personnel were undergoing indescribable hardships due to the strike which began on October 5. The Communist leaders pointed out that though the RTC crew called off the strike and went to the bus depots to rejoin the duties, the RTC management refused to allow them to join duties.
“As you are the ruler, we want to meet you and explain about the pathetic condition of the families of RTC personnel, who were barred from entering the bus depots. Therefore, we request you to kindly call an all-party meeting forthwith to discuss all issues regarding protection of RTC assets and interests of the employees,” they added. (Maxim News)
